An international team of researchers presented in the journal Nano Energy, a contribution to the development of materials for supercapacitors. Using a simple scalable method, the authors produced a composite of polypyrrole, graphene and zirconia and tested its electricity storage performance. The material demonstrated potential to be used in supercapacitor electrodes. See our news article.

We interviewed Vinícius Galhard Grassi, leader of polymers research in Brazil at Braskem. PhD in Chemistry, Grassi has been working for 16 years in R&D in polymers in the business environment, and has seen several products developed by him and his collaborators in the market – an incredible pleasure, he says, which justifies all efforts. Learn more about this researcher’s career, the products he developed and his vision of R&D in companies. See the interview. |
