Attention! To pay the 2026 membership fee, it is not necessary to be up to date with membership fees from previous years. If you missed the payment of one or more past membership fees, do not worry—they will not be charged.
How to become a member or renew your annual membership
Current members. If you have ever registered as an SBPMat member, access the members’ area by clicking on “Members Area” (in the header of this website) or using the button below. To log in, you may use the email address registered in our system. If you do not remember your password, enter your registered email address and click on “Recover password.” It will be sent to your email. Once you are in the members’ area, you will find a link to generate the annual membership payment slip.
New members. If you have never registered as an SBPMat member, use the button below and fill out the online form. After completing the registration, you will be able to access your members’ area with your login and password, where you will find a link to generate your payment slip.

Why become a member or renew the annuity
If you work with research, development and innovation in subjects related to Materials Science and Technology, you are already part of our community. We are a wide and diverse community, made up of students and professionals, not only from the area of Materials Science and Engineering, but also Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, Engineering and other areas.
It is likely you have already read scientific material or an interview from the SBPMat/B-MRS Bulletin. Or perhaps liked or shared an article posted on our Facebook or Twitter, or maybe downloaded presentations from our Slideshare or made use of an opportunity or event posted on our Linkedin site. You have probably attended our annual event, the SBPMat/B-MRS Meeting, and met colleagues from around the world, gained knowledge on cutting edge issues, able to discuss your research work with your peers. Maybe your research work or professional background has been chosen for disclosure in our newsletter, or the undertaking you wanted to disseminate was widely disseminated through our channels.
