Welcome

The Brazilian Materials Research Society (B-MRS) and the Organizing Committee of the XXII B-MRS Meeting invite the worldwide community of materials research to attend the 2024 Meeting that will be held at the Blue Med Convention Center in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil, September 29th to October 3rd, 2024.

This traditional forum is dedicated to recent advances and future perspectives in materials science and related technologies. It provides an excellent opportunity to bring together scientists, engineers, and students from academia and industry to discuss the state of the art of the Materials Science discoveries and perspectives.

Santos is located in the seashore of São Paulo state, just 85 km from the center of São Paulo City, with excellent connections to the main Brazilian airports. It is the biggest port complex in Latin America and is surrounded by beautiful beaches and natural forests. The vibrant city of Santos is full of historic, cultural and tourist attractions, counting with complete infrastructure and an amazing gastronomy. We are looking forward to meeting you in Santos.
