The Brazilian Materials Research Society (B-MRS) and the Organizing Committee of the XVII Brazilian MRS meeting invite the worldwide community of materials research to attend the 2018 meeting, which will be held at the Praiamar Natal Hotel in Natal-RN, from September 16th to 20th, 2018.

This traditional forum will be dedicated to recent advances and perspectives in Materials Science and Technology.

The meeting will be organized in the form of thematic symposia and plenary Lectures. Oral sessions and poster presentations are being carefully planned to ensure a representative outlook on the newest and most relevant aspects currently addressed by both academy and industry in the multiple areas of Materials Science and Engineering.

This year´s venue will offer a pleasant environment to discuss and develop ideas in one of the most beautiful cities in the Brazilian northeastern coast. Natal is a well-known tourist destination that hosts visitors from all over the world. Its warm weather, welcoming people and very refined seafood and local gastronomy creates an atmosphere of well-being that goes beyond the natural beauty of the city’s coastline.

Join us, by the beach, and be part of this great gathering, where science and technology will meet nature to form the ideal learning and exchanging experience.
