The Brazilian Materials Research Society and the X Brazilian MRS Meeting Organizing Committee are pleased to invite the entire community of research and development in the area of materials, members and nonmembers of Brazilian MRS, to compose another of this traditional multidisciplinary forum with international coverage, dedicated to the spread of recent advances in materials area. The ninth annual meeting of Brazilian Material Research Society (Brazilian MRS) will be held in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, 25 to September 29, 2010.
This meeting brings together researchers in Science and Engineering in Brazil and abroad, and is expanding its scope of work and proposing a more comprehensive agenda. Considering the multiple intersections and inter-disciplinary features of this universe of research and its increasing impacts on new processes and new applications, the X Brazilian MRS Meeting seeks closer relations between different areas and gives great emphasis to innovation.
Keeping the traditional format of the annual meetings, the X Brazilian MRS Meeting will be held in form of thematic symposia with the submission of papers for oral and poster sessions. Lectures from renowned experts will be given. All these work spaces are designed as forums to unite researchers from different horizons and embrace both the research at the frontiers of knowledge and dialogue with the innovation agenda.
