The Brazilian Materials Research Society and the Organizing Committee of the X Brazilian MRS Meeting are pleased to invite you to participate of this traditional annual meeting, dedicated to present and discuss recent research results and future directions in the field of materials science.

The X Brazilian MRS Meeting will take place in the mountain city of Gramado (RS), from September 25^th to 29^th, 2011.

The conference brings together all those who are interested in the practical applications and innovations on the development of materials. Supporting multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary research activities, the conference focuses on basic and applied developments comprising the synthesis and property changes of materials, biomaterials and devices.

Keeping its traditional format, the X Brazilian MRS Meeting will promote several symposia, poster sections and plenary talks. These activities are conceived as a debate and convergence forum taking place in a pleasant environment.
