Instructions for Authors
Submission: April 17th to June 26th, 2007. General guidelines: 1) Contributions must be written in English and electronically submitted as 1-page extended abstracts. Please refer to (ModeloAbstractSBPMAT2007.doc). 2) The contribution will be approved or not based on its scientific or technical content, innovative aspect and quality of text and figures. Submissions not approved will not be returned for correction and resubmission. Abstracts accepted for presentation (both oral and poster) will be published in the proceedings of the 6th Meeting (CD-ROM) and in the web page of the event. 3) Upon submission, the author will mention his/her preference: oral or poster presentation. For oral submissions, please state the language of the presentation (English or Portuguese). Preference will be given to quality presentations in English. Regardless of the language of the presentation, the slides must be written in English. Posters must also be written in English. 4) Invited speakers are kindly asked to present their lectures in English. 5) Accepted extended abstract presented in the event can be submitted as full papers to the scientific committee of the corresponding symposium. The full papers must fulfill journal guidelines. Please refer to the specific guidelines of each symposium.
