Dear Authors<\/p>\n

We are organising a special issue for\u00a0Journal of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology\u00a0(JCTB)\u00a0<\/strong>(published by Wiley, Impact Factor = 2.75,\u00a0https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/journal\/10974660<\/a>).\u00a0 We would like to invite authors to submit contributions.<\/p>\n

The theme of this special issue is\u00a0Latest Development of Nanotechnology in Latin America<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0We would particularly encourage new academics for contribution as we aim to promote research works in nanotechnology with new ideas. Initially, we have set several key areas for the issue:<\/p>\n

– Nanotechnology applied to sensors and biosensors<\/p>\n

– Nanoparticles and its interactions with plants<\/p>\n

– Risk assessment of nanomaterials<\/p>\n

– Drug delivery systems<\/p>\n

– Development of new functional organic, inorganic and hybrid materials<\/p>\n

– Nanotechnology applied to gene transfer<\/p>\n

–\u00a0<\/em>Molecular simulations in nanotechnology<\/p>\n

– Bio-based nanomaterials aiming agriculture and environmental applications<\/p>\n

–\u00a0<\/em>Magnetic nanomaterials and its applications<\/p>\n

–\u00a0<\/em>Nanoparticles aiming topical applications<\/p>\n

– Biomimetic silica nanoparticles<\/p>\n

–\u00a0<\/em>Hybrid biofilms aiming for food applications.<\/p>\n

We aim to set the deadline for\u00a0December\u00a031st<\/sup>\u00a0and to publish the special issue online in 2021. JCTB does not impose publication charges but it provides open access options with a fee.<\/p>\n

Once the invitation is accepted, please inform one of the Guest Editors prior to manuscript submission.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Submissions should follow the general guidelines for submitting an article to a Special Issue in JCTB:<\/p>\n

  1. Authors<\/strong>\u00a0should consult the author guidelines for details relating to formatting and article types. These can be found at:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. A<\/strong>uthors<\/strong>\u00a0should submit their papers using the manuscript submission system at:\u00a0http:\/\/mc.manuscriptcentral.com\/jctb-wiley<\/a>\u00a0and should mention the Special Issue in the cover letter.<\/li>\n
    2. Authors<\/strong>\u00a0must ensure they select \u201cYES\u201d when asked if their paper has been invited for a Special Issue during the submission process. They should also enter the name of the Special Issue in the field provided.<\/li>\n
    3. Authors\u00a0<\/strong>should suggest at least two referees for each paper with email contact information.<\/li>\n
    4. Authors\u00a0<\/strong>should submit their papers in the given time frame. Please contact the guest editor if you encounter any problems with meeting the submission due date.<\/li>\n
    5. All papers will be subject to the journals usual, rigorous, peer review process and papers will be handled by an editor from the journal.<\/li>\n
    6. If you would like your images to be considered for the cover, please email your suggestions to\u00a0covers@wiley.com<\/a>\u00a0once your article has been accepted for publication.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
