A Brazilian team of Materials and Computer scientists has developed a computational tool (an artificial neural network) that is able to effectively predict an important property of glass that changes according to the composition of the material. The work was reported in the scientific journal Acta Materialia and should make the research work and development of glass faster and cheaper.
