{"id":11349,"date":"2026-02-24T14:51:52","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T17:51:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sbpmat.org.br\/?p=11349"},"modified":"2026-02-24T14:51:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T17:51:52","slug":"oportunidade-de-bolsa-pos-doutorado-fapesp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sbpmat.org.br\/en\/oportunidade-de-bolsa-pos-doutorado-fapesp\/","title":{"rendered":"FAPESP post-doctoral fellowship opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Laboratory of Materials Science Applied to Pharmacy (CMAF) of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship (FAPESP fellowship), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Leila Aparecida Chiavacci Favorin.<\/p>\n<p>The group has been working in a multidisciplinary and collaborative way with research groups in Brazil and abroad, offering possibilities in the area of development of nanoparticles with antimicrobial action.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of the Project to be developed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This project proposes to use the combination of inorganic nanosystems, polymeric nanoparticles, lipid nanoparticles and also organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites to develop polymeric nanosystems or devices that contribute to combating multi-resistant strains of bacteria or fungi, in order to improve the stability and body distribution of the systems to be developed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate requirements:<\/strong> PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related fields.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In general, candidates are expected to have:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Solid experience with polymeric and lipid nanoparticles.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with nanostructural characterization;<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with microbiological assays;<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with assays involving cell culture \u2013 2D and 3D models<br \/>\n\u2022 Proactivity and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;<br \/>\n\u2022 Relevant scientific production (papers, patents or technological innovation).<br \/>\n\u2022 Proof of scientific and technological writing skills (especially in indexed<br \/>\ninternational publications).<br \/>\n\u2022 Good command of spoken and written English.<br \/>\n\u2022 International experience is desirable.<br \/>\n\u2022 Support for the training of undergraduate and graduate students.<br \/>\n\u2022 Teamwork skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specifics of the scholarship:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Synthesis and Characterization of Polymeric and Lipid Nanoparticles containing inorganic nanoparticles with antimicrobial action.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scholarship implementation is contingent upon the approval of the selected candidate by FAPESP, in accordance with the Foundation&#8217;s current regulations for Postdoctoral Fellowships. The position is open to Brazilians and foreigners.
