Under the Brazilian BRICS Presidency on 2025, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil (MCTI) and the Brazilian Materials Research Society (B-MRS) are glad to announce that the 7th Meeting of BRICS Working Group on Material Science and Nanotechnology will be held during XXIII B-MRS Meeting.

About BRICS

The grouping made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, as well as other new members - Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia and Iran - represents one of the main forums for political-diplomatic coordination between the countries of the Global South, with a focus on cooperation in various areas, such as science, technology and innovation. Under Brazil's BRICS Presidency in 2025, the central theme will be “Strengthening Global South Cooperation for More Inclusive and Sustainable Governance”.
