ICEM 2012 IUMRS-ICEM 2012 will be held in Yokohama, Japan, as one of the series of IUMRS international conferences focusing on advanced electronic and related materials. The electronic materials are the keys to solve global problems, especially those for environment and energy. IUMRS-ICEM 2012 in Yokohama will be the event for an update on the challenges at the frontier of electronic materials and related technologies. IX Brazilian Symposium on Glass and Related Materials 2012 – IX BraSyGlass 2012 The IX Brazilian Symposium on Glass and Related Materials, jointly with the 56th Brazilian Congress on Ceramics and the 1st Latin-American Congress on Ceramics will be held in Curitiba, PR, Brazil, from 03 to 06 June 2012. The Symposium is organized every two years and is a unique opportunity to bring together researchers and technologists working in the field of glass and related materials not only in Brazil, but all over the world, to present their most recent research work, to share ideas and experiences and to catalyze the interaction of Brazilian scientists, technologists and students with renowned international experts. The strategy consists in providing a relaxed atmosphere in a comfortable venue to facilitate contact among participants, thus promoting the exchange of information and fostering future research collaboration.
